Hi, I’m Arline, owner of Halstead Travel.

 

My passion for travel began when I was just 14 years old after a family holiday to Ibiza. I remember chatting to the holiday rep and thinking, that’s exactly what I want to do. Just three years later, I became a holiday rep myself  and ended up working in Ibiza. 

 

Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to work across many areas of the travel industry, including overseas in Turkey, as cabin crew for Air 2000 & in retail travel for both TUI and independent agencies.

 

In 2017, after sadly losing my mum suddenly at just 55, life gave me the push to follow my dream of building my own independent travel business from home, allowing me to spend more time with my family while doing what I love most.

 

Fast forward to today & opening my own travel agency in Coggeshall has truly been a dream come true, thank you to Jet2holidays for giving me the push i needed. I love being part of such a wonderful community & my daughter Charlotte even works in the shop on Saturdays. Our family dog Kevin, a Lhasa Apso, has also become a bit of a celebrity in the shop window.

 

Family means everything to me & I understand how important holidays are for creating special memories together. That’s why I treat every booking personally, whether it’s a family holiday, luxury escape, honeymoon, cruise, or once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

 

Many of my customers return year after year & most of my business comes through recommendations, which means the world to me.
